I have done the same so many times, now if I can't find someone, I head straight to the deaths. 9 times out of 10 they are there.

Hi Libby,
Thank's for your reply. I havn't a clue Where he could have gone, I would think Aus.
His name was Stephen Moreton born 1859 in Madeley Staffs, Married Martha Nightingale from Crewe Cheshire (a cousin) in 1886 in Newcastle Under Lyme Staffs. On 1891 census they are living in Coppenhall Crewe, He is a Railway Labourer.

I have a few family members missing 1901, whom were in the Boer War perhaps this could be why. If not do you know where he might of immigrated too?

You could put his details up, and see if someone else can help out

Can't find him on 1901 census, I know one member of the family emigrated,(from family stories) was it him? how can I find out? never had to deal with this before. How do I Thank's Gill
