Hi Babs,

Sorry you must be doing it wrong, I don't know what you snipped but whatever it was should come out exactly the same as you snipped it.
I use it for different things, it should be like a picture of whatever you snipped. You can send them as attachment in an e-mail or whatever you want.

Hi Babs,

Have you managed to store it anywhere, I usually use my pictures that way I can always view it and its there if I want to send it to someone. I keep them all in a folder.

Hi Babs,

When you click on the snipping tool there is a drop down on the arrow where you can pick whichever size of snip you want, there is even a full page snippy.

Hi Sue,

Sorry I had to go away there ASDA delivery!!

Anyway I was looking up a christening on IGI for someone on another website, it wasn't for me.
I tried to copy and paste it and it woudn't let me, so had to type the whole thing out it takes ages to do that.

If you ever have problems copying from a website you can either do Control, Alt +Printscreen which copies everything on the screen or even better you can use a little free program called Snippy.

Snippy (google it) is safe and easy and can either be used to draw around odd shapes or do rectangular sections from the screen. Great for copying bits of google books etc.

You can't copy and paste information from Family Search the way we used to. Or is it just me?
