Hi,
No, it was marked up as the 1951 census. I saw this when watching yesterdays program which I had recorded so was able to rewind to make sure of what I had seen.
I've just finished watching todays program and guess what; they reach up and took down the 1881 census and alongside is the 1951 census. That's what it says on the binding.

I would have though Fraser & Fraser would not make this mistake of having an Electoral Register marked down as a Census.

Are you sure it was the 1951 census and not the 1951 electoral register?

I saw some of yesterday's programme but not all of it so I didn't see that part of it.

You'd be surprised how many people call the electoral register "the census".

Hi.

The census for 1951 has not been released in full detail, but some statistical information is available. Not sure how this would help with family history, though. Maybe someone else knows more....sounds intriguing.

Hi All,
Another question from watching too many episodes of "Heir Hunters".

I noticed on yesterdays program that they brought down from the shelf, alongside other books, the 1951 Census. I thought they were not available for access for 100 years from the date the census was taken, or can you buy them if you have enough cash?
