Quite often if you cant find a whole family it can just be a silly spelling mistake, try spelling it as if you just heard it.

I need help on how to go about finding how someone came into this country in the 1800:s What records are available ? Where to look ? I can find any on census 1891 or 1901. I have a marriage cert but no place of birth.Have looked on passenger ships but without actual info it is ano go.All tips welcome.
