Sorry to all I haven't read the rules and really didn't understand the harm in putting my post in as many places as possible I just thought that I might have more of a chance of people seeing it.
Sorry again and thank you the info that was given

Anglea,

What you have on hs death certifciate is how Scotlands are done,,they have parents (if known) and always gives the mothers maiden name also on marriage certificates,,,,,so he wasnt by the looks of it,illigit,,,,,,you have both parents,,Samuels was her maiden name.you need to find their marriage,

It is better to have your information all on one board it makes results better as someone may post on the trying to find and you could miss it,,!

Wow Angela,

Thats one mighty attitude you have. Sadly for yourself we work as a team, and if you annoy one you generally annoy us all.

I know i for one will not be helping you at all.

Regards

Tracey

Duplicating threads means that people may be searching to help you on both threads and either duplicating effort or missing vital clues which may help them to help you. If all the information is in one place it makes things easier for everyone and you are liable to get more assistance. People sometimes add a comment like Heather's to make sure everyone is in the same place.
