Hello Kazza

How about starting a new thread with "Ford RC Cemetry in Liverpool" in the title asking if anyone who lives near would look for you as you have the plot number, then anyone who lives near would pick the thread up?

I'm down in Essex so can't be of much help I'm afraid!

The headstone is in Ford RC cem in Liverpool.

I do have the plot number as well. SP668.

Which cemetry is the headstone in? Maybe if someone lived near it they'd go and look at the original for you.

Look for the photo restoration boards.

They can do some pretty amazing stuff with images.

If you have a photo editing programme you might be able to soften/sharpen the image, increase/decrease the contrast, lighten'darken the pic etc.

Might be worth trying to post the image on rootschat and see if anyone can enhance it for you regardless of whether you have some software or not.

Ok I know this is a silly one but can anyone tell me if there is anykind of software to help me read a difficult headstone. Or even someone with remarkable eyes.

I have trawled through about a thousand headstones on a website I found and the one I think could possibly mine (typical) I cant make it out. All the stones have been translated with a pic, mine is just the pic.

I can sort of make out some of the words which make me think this is mine.

Any help apreciated.
