I havent used my credt card for Ancestry. I use it as little as possible. Do they want the name on the card?

I have just taken up a new .kol email addy.

Well I went to bed, but didnt sleep well so I will leave it for a week or so as I have plenty of other things I can do this week. I had wondered about a new email addy, Heather when I was trying to sleep. I have 2 and I tried both. I will now have to get a third.

Get a new email addy - have you got hotmail or google mail? Then you can start afresh.

I logged out then tried and when I typed in my email addy it said there was already somebody using it and it wanted my password and I tried a couple and was told I was wrong both times. I think I will give up for tonight, have another go in the morning when I am a bit fresher. Or leave it for a month or so until I am in a better mood so I can be all sweetness when I contact the idiots with my family in their trees.

I can access those trees using my UK membership.

Huia - log out of your existing account on Ancestry completely first and then try the above.

If you have had a free trial with the same account details before, it will not let you have another one.

I will see if I can get to the Ancestry home page, but other times I have tried it has taken me to my tree there.

Go to Ancestry home page, fill in a name in the "Or start searching our collection" section. On the results page, click to open a result and the offer of a 14 day trial should come up.

It is probably the American Ancestry that I want.

I want to contact all the idiots who have my sister m to a man b in America in 1723. They have her b in Ireland (wrong) and as quite a few of them also have our parents I know that it is my sister that I have, besides which, Tui is a Maori name so it wouldnt have been given to somebody b in Ireland in (presumably) the 18th century. I think most/all of the people who have her are Americans.

It is soooo frustrating that they copy the hints that Ancestry gives without checking it out for themselves.

I was all set to take up a 14 day free trial this afternoon but I cant see anything on the site, just the subscription costs. Does anybody know what a 1 month subscription would be in $NZ? I am getting sooooo frustrated.
