If you have the death certificate, it probably gives the address of the informant.
If you check that address in electoral rolls you could see if any of the other's in the household have names that are familiar to you....and you could check the surname of the informant too.
Lists will be in a main library or archive near the informant's address.

On Free bmd there is a marriage for John Millings to Grace E Westland registered a/m/j 1919 Vol 7a 1194 in Boston. If this is your John, his nephew could be from the Westland side of the family.

Did John Millings have any siblings? H Norton could be the child of one of his sisters, or could have been a nephew on his wife's side if he ever married.

as well as finding out about my family i have also been researching my wifes family and now have come to a complete dead end. today i received the death certificate for JOHN MILLINGS DIED IN BOSTON LINCOLNSHIRE IN 1963 but the informant is either h Horton or Norton i can't read it properly it also saids its his nephew but i have researched all the family and can't find any other descandants only on my wifes mother. theres is no marriage certificate for John either all i know is he was in the royal engineers in 1914-1918 i have various medical papers and medal card details but thats it.
any help would be appreicated
