Hi,

I am looking for a birth entry for Michael Campbell b 1905 q3 in West Derby; however, there are 2 entries listed and I do not know the names of his parents. Does anyone have any ideas as to make sure that I send for the right certificate?

All suggestions/help greatly appreciated.

Kind regards

Rachel

If you ordered both you'd still have no idea which one is correct. The only way to be sure is to find his marriage & order that cert first so at least you know his dad's name

Seeing as you don't know who the parents are you can't use a ref check.

How did you come by his name?

Even if you had both certificates how would you know which one you wanted?
