Hi, Have you tried this site, it holds quite a few parish records www*lan-opc*org*uk replace * with . I have found it quite usefull,

I've got to the stage now, where I'm going back and revisiting all my brick walls trying to fill in the blanks (and there are quite a few believe me).

Didn't think it would be quite so hard to kill a few old ancestors off!!!!

If they are willing to photocopy it then you may be able to get it emailed or posted to you for a fee.

Now how do I get my hands on it?

The page gives a link to Lancashire Reocrds Office who hold the information, but do I need to go there to see it, or is there a way I can get copies sent to me?

Sorry to ask such a basic question but I can't for the life of me figure out what I'm supposed to do next:-( and to make matters worse I know I have used the site before, but it looks very different now:-( No wonder I'm confused.
