Advice needed on discs please.

Yes I´ve got one, had to use it when I was working from internet cafe. Might use it again as emergency measure till I learn properly about the discs. If I can find it that is! Thanks for reminding me about it Becs.

Hi Chica

Have you thought about getting a memory stick? They are great for storing stuff as they are quick to download to (just drag and drop) and you can get different storage sizes, and much easier to carry about, some even have holes so you can attach to keyrings.

I would appreciate any advice with regards to which type of discs to use. For the last couple of years I´ve been using discs which say 4X DVD+RWR to store all my gen info and photos on. These have been wonderful as I keep rewriting them every time I add new photos etc.

Now my problem is that I can´t seem to find discs saying the same thing (that´s here in Spain). So when I was in UK I bought 20 discs (I´ve 1000´s of photos) saying 4X DVD+RW (I couldn´t find any with RWR on the end) I was told that people now just use discs once and throw them away. Is that true?

Anyway when I´ve tried to burn on these discs it says I am not inserting the right disc, but it says rewritable on them, so what am I doing wrong.
