Hi Roy,

I think I may have just done the same as you. FMP had page 250 (Alva to Fred) and there are three Anthony registrations:

initial of second name/mother's maiden name/reg dist

B. de Pendalosa E. Preston
B. Baddock Greenwich
V. Beech Romford

I also checked for second initial A with Timms or Witney, but zilch - lots in Wales - and my favourite on the page is Fedelmagh L. , Duggan, Windsor!

Are you sure it's 1930 you want as all four qtrs. are on Ancestry but the page numbers are not what you say. There are only 47 pages.

Back to your problem. Its a long standing one with the complete bmd. What you need to do is go to the actual 1930 year and click on that, it should bring up all 4 quarters. You have to fiddle more, looking for the page you need for Lewis- make a guess at it and work it out from there.

Oh, just realised you said the page, not the quarter is missing - sorry dont know then. May be someone with Find my Past can help?

I have done a search on GR for the birth record of
LEWIS, Anthony 1930
Mothers maiden name TIMMS or maybe Lewis
District maybe Witney

The problem is - the July to Sep quarter appears to have a missing page.

page 249 starts LEUW, Robert and ends LEWIS, Allen J
page 251 starts LEWIS, Fred B and ends LEWIS, Kenneth

What's happened to page 250 which would include LEWIS, Anthony (if he's there)?

Any ideas please?
