1. You MUST ensure that you have the pdf reader installed!!! Adobe Acrobat Reader is available free from Adobe - www.adobe.com.

2. I had the same problem with IE anyway - with Reader installed - so I just logged in from another browser - you could use FireFox, Opera or something else - then I copied/pasted the pop-up document link across from IE and the pdf came up.

Incidentally, if you want to keep/save a copy of the document, use the floppy disk icon over the document, NOT the browser's File>Save As,,, you can view it off the disk at your leisure with the Adobe Reader.

With so many people happy to do look ups, its a shame anyone purchases credits at all......I think they work out really expensive and are basically a rip off......Please Danielle don`t but anymore GR credits.......put a post on here for look ups, remember to include any info you have already, and be clear about what your asking for.

I think if Genes Reunited really wanted to help people with their research they would NOT sell credits to them. I've seen more complaints from people who have paid for credits here and have wasted their money.

If you mean credits on GenesReunited, then I would advise you not to buy credits for this site as it's an expensive way of searching. You would be better with the 14 day free trial on Ancestry.co.uk
