Reunion.com has changed their dba name to MyLife... expect the same lousy service and ripoffs.

Please don't even visit this site. I just did and it was full of viruses.

James,

This is a US company? Check out the issues on BBB.org

Despite all the claims they make and ads they shove in front of you, I had a major problem with reunion.com - and only got my money back because I had paid them through PayPal.

After trying everything (in my many years of internet experience) and still getting back from Customer Service (!!!) every time they replied that the "problem has been resolved", I opened a dispute with PayPal. After a week PP decided in my favour and refunded my money - out of reunion.com's account.

I still do not know if there would have been further charges after I had been admitted to the "Holy Grail of the 20th century".

I then scouted the Net to find out what others were experiencing... and was overloaded with the literally thousands of pages of complaints.

So as far as I am concerned it's a scam, pure and simple.

My major beef was that after I paid them US$60 they told me it would be up to three weeks for me to access the database - because my credit card had to be cleared first (did I get transported back into the 1950's?)... a bogus claim up front, because I paid PayPal by credit card, then PayPal paid them through my account (I did not pay reunion.com directly by credit card).

And since when does an on-line retailer keep a customer waiting WEEKS before a service is delivered? I can order a refrigerator and/or used car over the internet by credit card and have them delivered THE NEXT DAY.

When I found this out, I tried to cancel my subscription, and that;'s when their heels dug in and all of their the anchors went over the stern. Not a chance, they said.

So I went to PayPal and got satisfaction, but I know that many others were not so lucky.

I hope this helps SOMEBODY...

Jim Lynch
