I have a marriage cert for one of my Greats & it states she was a minor when married......Now her surname is Martin but she says her dads surname is Addison the same as the man she married

many thanks

It could just be an error on the part of whoever completed the certificate, I have come across this before with one of mine.

Hi Sam

What did you do, cos she was born in the 1820's so no B/C......The 1st names for the dads are different, so do you think it could be right 1st wrong surname
