Hi, just had a look in my husbands oxford nurses dictionary:

(an-oks-ia) n, a condition in which the tissues of the body recieve inadequate amounts of oxygen.
although this wouldnt be a cause of death the cause would be the reason the tissues didn't receive oxygen

These letters are definitely correct - Ano_ia - I thought the other letter was an 'r' but it could in fact be an 'x'

Could the 'r' actually be an 'x' as there is a condition called Anoxia?

Are you sure it says Anoria, it couldn't be Anemia?

Hello, I received a death certificate today and wondered if anyone could help please. It states:

A Anoria
B Pulmonary Tuberculosis

I'm fine with part B but wondered what part A means. I've tried googling the word and tried a few sites but had no luck.
