Parish Registers (PR) is the best place to start ,in the area where you think they may have married?often where the bride lived, but not always,

have a look on this site,it maybe helpful

FamilySearch.org

look on the left and click...IGIndex,,then select ,British Isles from drop down then ,country from the next box,,,,,,then county,,,,,,,or leave county blank,,,,,,,,,,

,,less input info can often bring better searching results,,,,,,!

I hope you realised before you started that this isn't going to be a quick and easy hobby Juliana.

Here are some ideas

Find the local Family History Society for the area where you have ancestors and see if they have any resources which may be useful.
http://www.ffhs.org.uk/

Use search engines to hunt for the parish and see if there is an online Parish Clerk who is happy to do a lookup. These are people who have got collections of records.

I will go and nudge up my thread of useful sites on this Tips board. I suggest you cut and paste a copy of sites and start what will probably be a search that lasts for years.

Good luck
Sue
