Have you tried www.lancashirebmd.co.uk? It's free to use and has quite good post-1912 coverage. If there's a chance they stayed in Lancashire they could well be there.

I just had a look on there and came up with this marriage:

1916
Richard Gould m Hilda Holme at Christ Church, Salford

You will need to search thrugh Ancestry or FMP 1/4 by 1/4 for each year from their 16th birthdays until you find a marriage, bearing in mind that there may not be one.

You will then need to do the same through the births from the marriage date until the woman is past child bearing years

You also need to bear in mind that these ladies could have married more than once.

That's not a brickwall! It may take a bit of work but is do-able.

You will have to search the FULL Gro indexes for marriages for these people. Once you have found the marriages, you can then search for births of children with the matching surname and mothers maiden name of Gould.

Same for deaths, once you know the married name, you can search the full indexes for deaths.

how do I obtain information ie marriage/children/deaths for
Hilda Gould b 1919 lancs
Elsie Gould b 1917 lancs
parents Hilda & Richard Gould. I don't seem to get anwhere with this one. Could anyone tell me how, I just seem to hit at a brickwall., each time.
