I had it bookmarked, Heather, but see that Keith found it for you. After the powers that be improved ... sorry, had a cough .... the site, all the posts and threads posted by me appeared to have been posted by Maid Marion. That was fair enough for some of them, but not all of them. I asked if they could all be reverted to how they started ie some by Joy Kentish Maid, but no, it could not be done.

The advanced search seems to work sometimes, but not always.

For your info, I complained to GR early last year about not being able to find "Threads" by author, even for myself, their response was "well we can find over 400" that was by posts not threads, so has not worked for at least 16 months.

I've just tried looking for your Google, google, google thread myself, by putting the title in the advanced search, but it seems to bring up every thread where the word Google is mentioned in any replies, not just in the title.

I don't think the system is working the way it should - but that's nothing new on this site!!

Roy I cannot find any threads by Heather at the moment, either under Heather Posi, or by membership number (dont know if you can but nothing comes up)

Do you fill in the section (Search for Author:) ?

Now Ive been a member for yonks, but since they changed the layout - Im blowed if I can make this Advanced Search thing work. I wanted, say now to find my thread Google, google, google which is useful for new members.

I click on my threads - blow me 600 pages or something come up, no way have I got the patience or eyes to look at all those. So I got to advanced search. I enter the title of the thread and I enter Tips Board and I wait ......................... Again hundreds of pages come up.

Can someone please explain to this poor old dear, what Im doing wrong please (and yes, I realise now I should use the new fangled bookmark thing to keep track of it)
