save documents from the 1960's ? Have found discharge papers from the TA for both my parents & would like to know the best way to save them. I will check tomorrow for surggestions.

Most important thing is to wrap them in acid proof paper and keep in light sealed box and obviously away from damp.

Jackie,

You could also scan them before you store them away safely. It is then possible to look at the images, either on the computer or printed off, to remind you of details or to show to relatives.
