i know on the family tree you can protect living rellies going back 120 years. i havent got any rellies 120 years old, so wouldn't it be better if you could select the ones that you want to protect instead of a blanket covering? what do you think.

I have no living people on my tree except myself & my parents (have to put us 3 in)

Both my parents are manually entered as "living" "living" & I'm in there under disguise

"hide living relatives" only hides them in your tree.
They still appear in "search Trees".
Last week I was given access to one such block.
Within a short time I had put names to all of the Hidden.

i have only 4 living and would love to know how to put in manually for just the 4

Just input forename as living & surname as living

just says hide living relatives yes or no. so were go i do it please sorry for being so thick

You have to log into "My Account" near top right of screen. There is a box to tick.

You cant be selective, it is all or nothing.

Oh I see now. To change individual names, what is being suggested is that you edit each individual name to the word 'Living'

yes thought that would be a better idea, but did know if it was possible
