I am needing a little guidance into how i go about looking for an article in the news of the world paper in the year 1940, i am not sure when it was in, but know it was that year. Can anyone give me some direction of what i need to do?

Many Thanks

Laura, the only thing I can suggest is you e-mail the News of the World and ask if it is possible to search their archives. Google for their web site

Colindale Newspaper Library does hold everything, but it's best if you can go search in person, as I was just looking at their services and they charge £50 !!

You could also try your local library.
