The ukbmd sites are especially handy for those with rellies across the West Midlands, Northern England and North Wales.

From the ukbmd homepage you have to select the county (via a dropdown menu).

Updates take place all the time so it is worth checking back on a regular basis if your county of interest is covered.

For North Lincolnshire online index try the council website and navigate to the family history research section, there are online bmd indices and liks to order the certificates;

I'm not sure if this thread has ever been explored before but ......some County Council's have online records of births, marriages and deaths which can be more informative than the freebmd records as they are more up to date and was wondering if anyone would like to add any County Council sites that they are aware of that provide this facility so that we can all share the information.

I know of Durham County Council, Darlington, Tees Valley Indexes and Sunderland City Council
