Many thanks for the advice - I'll go down that route.

From her M/C it would give you her dads name and occupation, then try to pick her up in the 1881

I know others have been very helpful in the past but I need some direction please.

I have an Elizabeth Bligh (nee Kearns)(husband Bernard b1857, Roscommon) who is easy to find in 1901 and 1891 Census' but

a) 1901 has her born, c1861, in St Helens Lancs,
b) 1891 has her born, c1859, in Monmouth, Wales, and
c) one side of the family says "she may have come from the Lake District area.

The only possible relevant Elizabeth Kearns on FreeBMD that I can find, with 1855-64, is in 1863 which seems too late but is in Manchester (where she lived from at least 1891 until her death in 1921).

Could somebody point me in the right direction as to how to solve her Place of Birth. Would it be on her marriage certificate (2/7/1882)?

Many thanks
