Hi all I am at a loss I have Hamilton Miller B 1826 Toxteth Park Liverpool in my family his father Thomas Miller B 1791 Ireland Mother Agnes B 1794 Ireland.
Now I can find Hamilton in the 1841 and 1851 censuses but then he go's walkabout never to be seen again can anyone help please I have searched for weeks but no luck.

The 1870 USA census lists a Hamilton Miller b 1826 living in Hamilton, Ohio. I don't have access rights to check where he was born

It would answer a lot of questions if he went to USA I havn't got access to the passinger list or census records for USA either so it's a dead end for now.

The 1880 American census is free on Familysearch. there are 2 Hamilton Millers there born England but one is 1832 and the other 1863.

I have just had a look and and the dates are a little out and he has a different wife so I can now look for Hannah's death his wife in England.

Here is 1871 census. Hamilton is a distiller? and his children are all born in England apart from the youngest, born in Ohio. Elizabeth was born in Maryland.

Elizabeth's mother seemingly came from Poland and all children, apart from the youngest, born England (even William). Ella born in Ohio.
