How do you officially get a spelling mistake corrected on a wedding certificate ? I've just discovered that my late mothers name is listed wrong i(under the wrong name)n the indexes. On close inspection of the certificate (an original) she even signs her name that way, ---an 's' looks like an 'r' and the 'official' has written it wrong too. How odd.---Thanks---Philip.
