hi
dont know if this is any help, i am looking for irish relatives to, have found if you goto google, put national archives when page opens scroll to bottom of page and in small red writing there is view 1911 census (for dublin) then just put last name in search box and see what comes up, u can do the same for 1901, some of my family were from tipperiary but had moved to dublin and i didnt know, its free so worth a shot.

I would like to find the birth index of my Great Grandmother Alice Creed c1859 born in Clogheen, Co Tipperary, Ireland so I can order her Birth Certificate. Can any one advise me what’s the best website to go on to find this information out. There are so many websites out there. Is there a free BMD index for Ireland or are they all payable to view and which is the best one to subscribe to. Many thanks in advance for your help.
