Freereg - a reminder

The freereg (parish registers) project is well under way now and so worth checking. I have found lots of records for my Norfolk people. Have a look - and they are appealing for more volunteers to help transcribe.

There are already some Staffordshire records on there, Liz, but it doesn't cover the whole county yet.

Think the contact for Staffs must be out of date - tried to volunteer twice but never got any response. Now doing BMD transcriptions.

There is also the Freecen website which is transcribing census info for free.
