You do not have to keep logging in and out,to use two accounts.
Just use different addresses.

How about making the false link something like

First name .................. - Second
Surname name.............- Tree

So the name will read "Second Tree"

& in the info part state something like.."Second Tree belonging to the ??? family

Then you can add the relations from that link, obviously changing the surname.

Why do you need to put him and his family on a separate tree to your own? Surely you can just add his family back from him starting from where you have him on your existing tree (I assume that you've added him as your daughter's husband to your tree?).

If you really wanted a completely separate tree then you'd need to set up a second GR account (with a different user name). You'd need to log in and out every time you wanted to switch from one account to the other, though. And you couldn't initiate contact with hot matches from the second account unless you paid an annual sub for it.

You can ask for a separate account but I dont think you will get hot matches etc from it without paying another fee, Maybe invent an Unknown relative and join him onto that

I am searching for the family of my Son-in Law. How do I set up a separate family on GR so that is not linked to my tree.

The only way that I can see at the present, is to link it and then delete the connection!! Or is there a simpler way?
