That is def them though now i have an extra 3 children that arnt with them in 1901 so i presume they have died.

I have checked the image for Clara Rosina that Glitter Baby found and the page No is 884. It is also transcribed as page 984 but that would give 5 people on that page and Clara would not be from the same District as the others. So, I think you have found your marriage, Joy.

i have had the same thing recently and the only thing i think you can do is send for the cert stating clara as the name of the other party so if its the wrong one at least you will get a partial refund from the gro we ll thats what i did anyway .

When you order a cert from GRO you only need put one spouses name for a Marriage as long as you have the correct reference numbers.

Can anyone help me find someone who appears to be lost please.

I have a Christopher comben born approx 1853, i.o.w.
I have him in the 1901 census as married to a Carla born 1866/7 in Deiryes Wiltshire . They were living in portsmouth.. The problem is i can find no trace of there marriage. I have however found the record of a marriage in dec 1883 of a christopher comben , right age ect. But when i click on the 'show others on page' there are only 3 people with christopher being one of them. I am pretty sure this is my christopher but clara seems to be lost.
Any help greatly appreciated
