Does anyone know what information is provided on a marriage certificate in South Australia in 1895...thanks

You can get a transcript from the SA Genealogical Society (google it) cheaper than from the government source. SAGS seems to have permission to run this service from copies of the records they have.

Information on a marriage certificate of SA in 1895 is:

Date of Marriage
Place of Marriage
Bridegroom's name
His age
Bachelor/Widower
Occupation
Residence
Father's name
Bride's name
Her age
Spinster/widow
Occupation
Residence
Father's name.

Thanks everyone for your help,its a big pity that they never put the birth dates on these things.
Im trying to find my GG Grandfathers birth date so that i can then try and trace back before him,but i just cant nail it.
