Hi Betty,
If this is happening in outlook express, try this.
Open outlook express. Click on tools-options-security. Make sure you UNTICK the box which says"block images and other external content in html email"
Hope this sorts it out.

It may be your email is stopping them Betty - as Sally says sometimes you get a little bar across the top saying they have blocked them and asking if you want to see them.

Try looking near the top of the email to see if there is a link or a bar to click on to display images. Both Outlook and Gmail have this feature.

I receive e-mails which have pictures on them but I can't actually see the pictures, all I see is the outline of a box where the picture should be and there is a red cross in the top left hand corner.

These are not pictures attached to the e-mail so I can't just click on the attachment, they are just pictures within the e-mail itself, why can't I view them?

Sorry I have to go out in about 20 minutes or so but will reply to any messages if they are later on.

Thanks!!

Betty
