hi
can anyone tell me how i can search for birth marriage and death records for scotland. free sights would be great as a bit short of cash. only just found out we have scottish ancestors

Hi Lorraine,

You can get BMD's for Scotland on Family Search IGI but most of them are further back, not sure which years you are searching or which area in Scotland.

Forgot to mention Scotlands People website but you have to register and buy credits for this website but you can download the actual images of a birth, marriage or death record.
