If anyone can help me sort this one out I'd be truly happy.

Harry Quantrill my ancestor 1891 census has wife Harriet - no children.
1901 census has wife Emma - + numerous kids all under 10 yrs old.
Searched for marriage between a Harriet and Harry Quantrill around 1890, jimsoton from this site sent me Harriet Maria Rands and Harry Quantrill Dec1890 Samford(which is correct for where he lived).
Thing is Harry dosen't show under that code 4a 1549 but there is a Dunnett and I've since seen elsewhere Harriet Maria Rands married in Shotley(in Samford) Oct 1890. And her children are Dunnetts.
Really confused now especially seeing as Harry has different wife in 1901

So he couldn't have married harriet maria rands then

Looks like it. Hell of a mistake to make on the census though writing Harriet instead of Emma!

the 1891 census Holbrook Suffolk yes. It clearly says Harriet.
I haven't seen the image for the marriage register though for the 1515/1545 issue.

I've seen silly mistakes on the census so it would not surprise me
