My ancestor was also in the police force during the 1850's
I found all his records - including his pension and a description of him at the National Archives, Kew.

Is there a site or place that I can look for a police mans records,
I have a gt Uncle that died due to his injuries whilst on duty. I have seen the Monumet at New Scotland Yard, but I would like to know if like war records they have any other info.
