i have just signed up to tracesmart.co.uk because i needed some addresses on long lost relis. i put in a couple of adresses to no aval. so then i put in my own and my sisters and there was no such address. what am i doing wrong

It might be the way you enter the address, i would think that Road and Rd for example influence the results.

Bear in mind the electoral rolls they use are edited Electoral Roll records for the past 6 years and if someone isn't registered to vote or has requested their name be with-held from certain lists they might not appear in the results.

TBH i have never used any of the sites for recent electoral roll searches, part of the problem is that for any given name you are bound to get several matches and still be none the wiser as to whether they are the folks you are looking for, unless you know the address beforehand.
