I am not sure how long the dissolved companies records stay online for.

Would the business have been part of any Guild? That would offer you a quicker answer.

Can a Director of a Limited Company be traced via Companies House records? Has anyone tips on how, please? Or info about time periods of available records etc.

My g-father is listed in 1891 as a Company Director - I suspect in business with his brother. The business appears to have been seasonal, and probably did not prosper as the brother was destitute by the mid-1890s. I hope there are records of other directors, objectives of the business, some accounts, and what happened if/when it ended. Any help would be welcome, thanks.
