On Free BMD James Edward Cain has Marriage June 1909 to Elthel Pilling 8d Salford 101 (this is what im looking for and was so happy only !!!!

On find my past June 1909 there is no sign of this marriage how and why would this happen

The marriage can also be found at Lancs BMD, although there they respell her forename as Ethel;-)
