Both on XP and on Vista;

I just click on the "save" option, click the option to save to my computer and add it to where ever on my pc i want it (documents, pictures or a specific folder).

Yes Glitter Baby,

I mean when you actually view the image, think I may have problems now as i am on Vista where as before on Windows, no problems sending the image or keeping it in my pictures folder.

Heather I tried the tab at the top where it says share, I even sent it to my own e-mail address but it won't open when I receive it.

Look above the image and to the right

Print - Save - Share - Help

Click on Save and you should get Save Options box appear.

I usually save to computer.

If really stuck then click on Share. This gives you the option to send a link to another person by entering their email addy in a box.

I beleive there is a time limit on the link

Betty, when you are looking at the census image - there is a tab at the top that says "Share". I always click on that - a little box comes up which you put your friends email addy in and then send.

I have tried several times to save an image of a census on ancestry to send to someone but I can't manage to save it as a picture to send in an e-mail. Anyone any tips on how I can do that, thanks!!
