Ancestry Washed out Census Images Tip

Hi Christine

I was just letting people know that just because the image is poor on Ancestry it doesn't mean that every image is poor.

I have 6 months subscription to GR so don't pay to see individual images.

Thanks

Melanie

I don't think many people use GR for their images and records as it is a very expensive way of researching especially if you also subscribe to Ancestry.

Have just searched on Ancestry for a census return and when the image appeared it is an almost total whiteout and totaly illegible.

Did the same search through GR and the census image is perfect.

Always worth checking on both.
