Can someone help me ?? For the past year i have been looking for a Sidney Buxton born in Dudley Birmingham 1896. He is a brother to my grt grandad, my nan said her dad Walter Buxton had two brothers 1st one Rowland (ralf )as she new him & the other one Sidney( Sid). On one of the census i found a Rowland & Sidney living with mum& dad in Dudley Birmingham, Then i hit a brick wall , could not find no more info on them, Untill i found out that alot of people used their middle name as their frist name, found out that Rowland frist name was George rowland Buxton Sent for a birth cert which was the right person. I was still trying to find Sindey Buxton , I was looking on the ww1census and found a Herbert Sidney buxton & his next of kin was a Simeon Buxton which is my grt grt grandad, so sidney is a Herbert, He was in the Army service crops Regiment , when discarged age 23years., he was living at 140,Ashred Rd birmingham , And now i cannot find no more info on him . Can anyone help me Please . I 'am sorry about all the info.

he joined up as Sidney Herbert and his home address on joining was 14 Ashred Road Birmingham ,not when he left.
He was discharged in 1919 because of malaria,and the address then was 175 Aston road Birmingham
He appears to have been discharged from Woolwich which is in SE London.
His full Army record is on Ancestry
