Can anyone tell me what the following stands for:

Have a Scottish birth OPR for 1817 after the names of child and parents there appears the following letters HS (which I think could be his spouse) NNCP ASB and then the date of baptism. Anyone got any ideas please?

Hi Norah,

Have had a look. The NNCP would seem to be a reference to the address. ASB simply means 'a son baptised' I think, since it is then followed by the date and the name.

The last 'P' stands for parish.
