Thanks Chris, have logged on to The Stage and it appears they have several mentions of the name. Will have a thorough search tomorrow as my OH is making noises because we have to go out.

My gt grandfather, George Edward Stacey, was part of a musical act called the "Two Obadiahs" in the east end of London. This would have been late 19th or early 20th C and they were known as the corner men on the musical acts. My grandfather use to sing many of the songs his father had used in his act. Does any one know how I would be able to get more information i.e. the name of the muscial hall, dates etc. I have looked on various webs sites and googled with no luck. Any ideas would be gratefully received.
