Janet, yes have checked from Jan 1916 to dec 1930 and cannot find her. Have a family piccie of her daughters 1922 wedding she is not there, whether she had passed over by then I don't know. I will have to keep on searching

Have you checked the quarter before the last child was registered. A birth can be registered up to 42 days after birth but a death is registered almost immediately.

Thanks for the reply, but that is'nt her. The Eliza, in 1901 census, I am looking for lived in essington st birmingham with her husband william and some of her 10, up to that date, children. I was told she died not long after her last, 13th , child in 1916 but I have looked uptil 1930 and can't find her

Can anyone find the death of Eliza Firkins, nee delaney. Born in Birmingham 1874 died in Birmingham some time between 1916 and 1925.
