Hi , I'am looking for anyone who can help me find a death cert for a Richard Herny Bousfield 1877 - 1901,One of six soldier brothers, there were six brothers in the army in 1900.
Queen Victoria sent their father Greorg Bousfield a postal order for £6.00 in recognition of this unfortunately Richard was killed in South Africa during the 2nd Anglo Beor war. Would i beable to get a copy of a death cert.
Thanks Sharon

Check out the Boer War site by Kevin Asplin - google for it.

This is the only one I can see on Findmypast:-

Deaths, GRO Natal 1899-1902

Bousfield, R. - 3 Rayal Warwickshire Regiment, page 593

That should be enough to order a death certificate, but if it's anything like the military death certificates I have it won't give much information - usually just name, age, date of death and "killed in action" for the cause.
