You'd really need to obtain the second marriage certificate to see what it says. I would imagine that there would be a reference to marriage no 1 if it was done legitimately which would give you a timescale to search.

Eleanor Report 12 Sep 2008 22:08

Husband's name was William Henry Parker (aged 29 on marriage cert 19 Sep1925).Shipping representative who was living at Normandy Street, Custom House, London.

Father was James Watson Parker. Was A Ships Engineer.
Marriage was held at The Register Office, Willseden.

That's about all I know. My great aunt (May Ormerod) continued living in London for a while but then moved to Watford.

Can you give us some names?

What is the husband called and when was he born?

My great aunt was married in 1925 in London to a shipping representative (marriage certificate obtained). But I know that her husband just disappeared one day. Naughtily (!) she re-married before the 7 years were up before he could be declared dead.

How can I find any info which would have cleared her for re-marriage or find a death notice for him?
