Thanks, it doesn't really look like any of those though.

This was in 1902 so the address may have changed.

Yes - I've just looked at the link, Dot

It looks like Amberley to me -
but that's in Gloucestershire!!

I did want the address to try and find Elizabeth in 1901 although I suspect she may have been in India as that is where she was from.
They supposedly had a family farm at Southampton too.

Gwyn in Kent

Gwyn in Kent Report 12 Sep 2008 08:17

Is the E.C. significant?
Sorry, I don't know London, but all the letters in the middle of the word are short. ie. no 'tall' letters like h or b...and none below the line like g or p etc.

Looks like Ammerley?

Maybe Annerley, that seems to be a place near London?

Yes Gwyn, the EC is vital as it tells you which section of London it's in.

Can't find my A-Z London! Must be in OH car!!

I think it might be Anerley, Surrey, there is even a Beverley Road there.

EC4 (Blackfriars) is north of the river Thames opposite SE1 (Southwark)

Southwark in 1901 was classed as Surrey
Still wondering about this one!

Come on you Londoners! Give us a hand

I've found 9 Beverley Rd in Penge in 1901, but no one is home :(

Penge is in Kent but then is says it is part of London as well.
