He is a messanger on the form.

The checker or someone later has classified the jobs and added Port, when totalling for statistics.

Some old handwriting that I just cannot make out! Could someone please have a look at the 1891 census, RG12/4473 for Morriston, Swansea, Glamorgan.

I am trying to see what the occupation is for John Davis (aged 20), living with step father William Price and written down as John Davis Price if you need to search. It looks like Port something.

Any ideas? Thanks.
