One of ancestors was born at sea.

Is there ANY way of tracing a record of this birth ???

His father was in the 19th Regiment of Foote (the Green Howards) and then the 33rd Regiment. Mother unkown.

(His name was Charles Hall and he settled in Birmingham as an adult- and the father was John Hall - born 1805, Bradford Yorkshire.)
