Hi Nana

I have very little information on her, only her name Lillie McDonough, and that she was possibly born in Ireland. She is the sister of my G Grandfather he was born 1876.

Sorry what does Order mean?

Hi, if you google orders/nuns you will get a good idea of how many 'orders' there are. Carmelite, Benedictine, Poor Clares etc. Quite a complex thing really. There are varying orders for monks too. I think if you could discover the area where she was born, you might be able to discover if there was a convent in the area. Hope this helps.
